Hey I really want to go to Humboldt but my GPA is a 2.8, but I volunteer at a hospital and foosball (100+ hours), I write for my school newspaper, I do crosscountry and track

No worries about your GPA and getting in. You only need a 2.0 to get in here (though I was much higher) and it is a state college so the extra stuff isn’t as important. Please apply and enjoy your time here

My first day living in Humboldt County
So my fiance and I finally made it out here, so I can attend HSU. Andy is really happy to be back home, and I am excited to be in such a different place. Driving the 750 miles fro southern cali to northern cali turned out to be one crazy trip, but we are here, and I love it.
I have visited a few times before, but this is my first time interacting with people a lot, and I must say everyone has been sooooo nice. Not only did we have our car jumped twice before it got to the shop, but one person gave us thier jumper cables and refused to take any kind of retribution!!! Another man saw me admiring his wife’s sunflowers (by taking pictures with my puppy) and he not only gave me one, but seeds so I can grow my own!
So happy to be here finally
